Dyno testing and custom tuning

RRT Motorsports is an authorized COBB Pro Tuner with an in-house AWD Mustang 150 Dyno. Schedule your appointment for a custom tune or simply just to check your car’s performance.

Some Performance and Dyno tuning modifications are for competition and race vehicles only. Customer must read and sign the disclaimer prior to and engine work and dyno tuning. To maximize your dyno experience please review the Dyno Checklist to make sure that you and your car is ready.

Pricing

Prices can change if the car is not dyno ready and or has issues that need  to be fixed on the dyno. Please make sure the car is ready for a tune and no mechanical issues, we do offer pre dyno inspections at $250 before  it goes on the dyno.

Base maps/start up maps can be sent (must pay up front for the full tune).

Checklist

To ensure your dyno and tuning is a success and to avoid  any lost time please go through the checklist to make sure that you are fully prepared.

Pre-Dyno Checklist:
  1. Check all fluids
  2. Plugs Gapped Correctly
  3. Remove any aftermarket under trays (front and/or rear) if not additional fees may apply
  4. Boost controller installed correctly (please double check)
  5. All vacuum lines are secured
  6. Fully charged and operational battery is a must
  7. No major oil leaks
  8. NO vacuum caps to block off coolant ports, there will be a clean-up fee if, and when, they fail
  9. 1/2 – 1/4 tank of fuel min
  10. Correct tire pressure
  11. No Slicks
  12. Accessible and useable 02 Bung for the dynos wideband, can be under the car after the subframe or on the o2 housings. If you don’t have one and/or think its very rusty, please contact us first.
  13. In-car recording devices must be off (can record out of car from front, rear side and viewing room). We can set up recordings if the car is dropped off. Please ask and we can arrange to have a short video
  14. Absolutely no one allowed in the main shop floor unless given permission and accompanied by staff. Please be respectful of our time.
  15. Please don’t come with more people than needed for a tune season.
  16. We do allow you to work on your own car to fix small things, example swap out boost controller, vac lines, top off fluids, fittings, spark plugs, fuel pumps, bring your own tools. You must clean up. If it takes more than one hour, you will be assisted and charged for labor time.
  17. We understand 90% of you are traveling a while to come. We will do everything possible to get the session done. We only schedule 2 tunes a day max to give us time in case.
  18. We see a lot of new builds come with lots of issues, we will go out of our way to try and fix the car on the spot, worse case you can always leave the car with us.
  19. Tune adjustment might need to be done after tune (if car is warm and can’t get a cold start we might need to touch that up after) at no charge. You will need a tuning cable to flash, send us ECU, or come with the car.
